Why Faber won’t date Paige VanZant

UFC bantamweight Urijah Faber’s exploits with the ladies are legendary; he’s widely believed to be the luckiest guy in mixed martial arts. The combination of world class athletic achievement, success in business, charming personality, and cleft chin to take a nap in, means Urijah Faber doesn’t date the hot cheerleader, he dates the cheerleading team.

All at once. #Fact

UFC women’s featherweight Paige VanZant is a member of Faber’s Team Alpha Male, and does herself possess an abundance of attractive qualities. She is a model, in perfect shape, who moves well enough to have just earned $300,000 on Dancing With The Stars. And she is comfortable dating teammates, for as long as she wants to.

So when a TMZ Sports staffer recently caught up with Faber, it only made sense to ask if there could ever be anything between the pair.

“Paige is a very interesting character,” replied Faber. “She’s a teammate. She’s not someone I’m going to be dating, no.”

Faber was then asked the obvious question – “why not?!”

“She has dated one of my teammates here, Cody Garbrandt, in the past,” replied Faber.

The reported then cited the Bro Code.

“I’m not going to pass the Bro Code,” agreed Faber. “Her and I have a different relationship man. I would definitely say we’re in the friend zone, 100 percent. And teammates zone.”

Faber was then asked the other question that is on the mind of every hardcore fan – does it hurt his feelings when division champion Dominick Cruz makes fun of his chin?

“It really hurts my feelings,” affirmed Faber. “Crying myself to sleep, every night, listening to this dumbass.”

Faber also referenced fellow members of the small community of Butt Chin owners, and said the greatest Butt Chin is John Travolta’s.
