Cheyanne Buys did not need a lot of time at UFC Vegas 33 to bounce back from her UFC debut loss in March.

After a letdown in her first appearance in the Octagon, Dana White’s Contender Series alum Buys only needed a minute to get her first Octagon W.

Cheyanne Buys scores fourth-fastest KO in UFC strawweight history at UFC Vegas 33

Just fifty-second into the round, Buys, 26, landed a head kick on opponent Gloria de Paula that floored the Brazilian instantly. Despite that, the referee gave “Glorinha” a chance to recover and fight back, but she didn’t get the chance to do so. As Buys pounced and landed some crushing ground-and-pound shots to force the stoppage at 4:00 in the first round.
