UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw lands LATE cheap shot during sparring

Current UFC bantamweight champion, TJ Dillashaw, is one of the best pound for pound fighters in the world at the moment but he does have a reputation for being a bit of a hot head in the gym and in this video we see some evidence that supports that claim.

In the video below, we see UFC champ, Dillashaw, sparring with the current K-1 57.5kg world champion, Takeru Segawa, and Dillashaw lands a horrendously late cheap shot on Segawa whose hands were down at the time too.
Now, you should definitely defend yourself at all times during sparring as well as in competition, but when the bell goes and the round is over, that’s a different thing altogether and this appears to simply be a classless cheap shot from Dillashaw.

Segawa, who traveled all the way from Japan to train with coach Duane Ludwig and TJ in Colorado, heavily documented his training trip and surprisingly didn’t seem too upset by the late hit from Dillashaw and actually seemed to get a kick out of riling him up.
As previously stated, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard of Dillashaw being overly aggressive in training as, according to former training partners Uriah Faber and Cody Garbrandt, Dillashaw had a temper and would deliberately try to hurt people in training. It is also heavily rumored that Dillashaw allegedly landed a similar cheap shot on his former teammate, Chris Holdsworth, that resulted in a concussion.
