LAS VEGAS – LFA President Sven Bean recently announced that the LFA has entered into two event production agreements in August of 2023.

“The LFA team will produce events in two new markets, and with two new venue partners this coming August.” said Bean, who handles venue booking and scheduling for the LFA.

“We will kick things off by heading south to El Paso, Texas and Southwest University Park on Friday, August 4,” stated Bean.

“This will be the third stop on the 2023 LFA Texas tour. It will be our first time to El Paso, and also the first time the LFA octagon will be set up inside a professional baseball stadium. I always love to work in new venues, and this is quite the property. I’m looking forward to working with their in house event team to create an amazing night of MMA for the Southwestern Texas fans.”

Leg Up Entertainment vice president, operations and events Matt LaRose added:

“We are excited for the LFA to debut at Southwest University Park. We have hosted professional boxing events here, but this is our first MMA event. We wanted to bring the city of El Paso a high-quality event, and we’re happy to be working with the LFA. They produce top notch events and put together exciting fight cards. We look forward to August 4, as it will be a night to remember!”

Tickets for LFA 164 are on sale NOW at SouthwestUniversityPark.com.

LFA 164 will be broadcast live at 9 p.m. ET on UFC Fight Pass.

“Then two weeks later, the LFA will finally debut in California’s central coast at the Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz, California on Friday, August 18,” continued Bean.

“Santa Cruz is a true destination town, and I’m really looking forward to bringing an LFA event there. We’ve found a great venue partner with an awesome support staff. The surrounding area has such a rich history in the sport, so I’m really excited to be producing the first MMA event in the venue! We’re hoping to build off that history and fanbase, but also engage some new fans along the way.”

Santa Cruz Warriors chief operating officer David Kao added:

“We are excited to bring LFA to Kaiser Permanente Arena this August. Legacy Fighting Alliance is a leader in MMA promotions with a great fanbase. To have an opportunity showcasing this event in front of 3,000 fans is something we are thrilled to be a part of. Whether you are a long-time MMA fan or someone who’s curious about the sport, we look forward to welcoming everyone to Santa Cruz and the Central Coast community.
