Lorenz ‘The Monsoon’ Larkin is a welterweight fighter in the UFC where he currently holds a 5-5 record and an 18-5 pro record overall. He is coming off a pair of big wins over contenders Jorge Masvidal and Neil Magny. Lorenz is predominantly a striker and even holds a win over former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler back in Strikeforce.

In this video from YouTube channel ‘Trendzz’ we see ‘The Monsoon’ in action as he teaches adult film stars Nikki Benz and Britney Amber some MMA moves.

The first move Lorenz teaches them is the jab. The jab, which may seem simple, is an important part of any striking arsenal. It is not only used to set up other strikes but also to maintain distance. Lorenz also drives home the important of keeping the opposite hand up high though to protect yourself when throwing the jab.

The lovely ladies seem to be quick learners as they get the hang of the one, two punch combination quite well before going on to the next technique.

The next technique they go over is the push kick. Similar to the jab, it allows you to maintain distance as well as create distance if your opponent gets too close for your liking. An advantage of the push kick or teep as its known in mauy thai, is your legs are longer and stronger than your arm. This means you can push someone away much better and from longer range than you could with a jab.

Lorenz also teaches the girls the traditional muay thai low kick, the unorthodox side kick to quad (used by Jon Jones) and even some grappling with the rear naked choke on the ground.
