Joe Rogan is known by UFC and mixed martial arts fan as the color commentator for the UFC. Rogan also is a former actor, reality TV show host, and still a full-time comedian. But he has always been a huge fan of MMA and also an avid martial artist.
Rogan grew up as a competitive Taekwondo fighter and later learned submission grappling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is a blackbelt under Carlos Machado and also a black belt in the tenth planet system under Eddie Bravo.
In this clip from 2008, a radio host asked Rogan to ‘choke him out’ with a rear naked choke. Rogan applied the choke with masterful technique and the host was unconscious in three seconds.
