This fight between two teenage girls in a school hallway was playing out in typical fashion until a cop suddenly came bursting onto the scene, hell-bent on bringing an end to the battle by any means necessary.
The video begins with the two teens already engaged in a verbal confrontation, as other students look on.
If you were going to fight me you could have done it already instead of backing up, the darker haired girl wearing glasses tells her rival.

Why are you walking away then? Why are you walking away? the other girl shouts as she strides purposefully towards her.
With tempers boiling over the two angry young ladies clash in the middle of the hallway, and in true girl-fight fashion that means plenty of hair-pulling and ineffective hammer-fists are thrown.
Having said that, the girl with the glasses actually throws a knee to the body at one stage and later lands an uppercut – all while clutching a fistful of her rival’s hair of course.
At that point a cop emerges, and rather than looking to just separate the two, he’s already chosen to go with the nuclear option, sprinting headfirst at the two teenagers and then leaping into a beastly double takedown.
That shuts down the altercation real quick, with the two unruly youths left pinned underneath him on the floor afterwards, looking dazed and confused by what just transpired.
While the cop’s actions ended the confrontation swiftly, the video will likely spark a debate about excessive force, particularly in the wake of other similar incidents in recent times.

For instance, earlier this month an officer in San Antonio, Texas was fired for body slamming a 12 year-old girl on school premises, while last year in South Carolina, another policeman was sacked for throwing a girl from her seat and dragging her across a classroom.
