Conor McGregor began his professional mixed martial arts career in 2008 and, in 2012, he won both the Cage Warriors Featherweight and Lightweight Championships, holding both titles concurrently before vacating them to sign with the UFC. In 2015, McGregor became the first Irish-born UFC champion after he defeated Jose Aldo for the featherweight championship at UFC 194 via knockout just thirteen seconds into the very first round of their scrap at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
There are few fighters, if any, whose stars have risen so far, so fast. Even being defeated by Nate Diaz in a short-notice welterweight match at UFC 196 in March 2016 hasn’t seemed to have dulled the razor-sharp edge of Conor’s popularity and marketability.

However, there was a time before all the money and fame when Conor McGregor was just a regular guy, doing regular guy things like hanging out in Iceland and consuming a sheep’s head for reasons you are welcome to try figuring out for yourself.
Perhaps being a longtime fan of the Ultimate Fighting Championship and becoming familiar with Joe Rogan lead McGregor to enjoy one too many episodes of Fear Factor, making him decide to test his own ability to eat inarguably disgusting food.
As if there was any doubt, Conor easily proves fear is not a factor, chomping down some of the abominable culinary creation while singing the praises of its protein content and then feeding some to a baby. I’m not sure whose baby it is or what he ever did to deserve being fed sheep’s head, but the kid seems to enjoy it a whole lot more than the UFC Featherweight Champion did.
