The following footage features a pretty violent incident that happened in the streets of Russia. Seeing a man violently assaulting a woman is always hard to watch, though this time there was a fortunate twist.

A woman wearing a head scarf and white shoes can be seen waiting for the bus with someone who’s presumably a friend of hers. The scene is quite normal. A man is walking towards the two women. Perhaps he wants to wait for the bus as well?

Actually, the more the man comes close to the two women, the clearer his intentions become. His pace is steadfast and he seems determined. It’s obvious he’s clearly up to no good.

And unfortunately for the woman with the head scarf, the guy definitely meant trouble. The man walks towards his victim and violently shoves her. The woman falls down to the ground. Hard. The woman, probably in utter shock, is visibly stunned and barely able to move.

Note that the woman’s friend flees the scene immediately. Perhaps she decided to go get some help for her assaulted friend but I wouldn’t be surprised if she just left her on her own. Fortunately for the assaulted woman there’s actually someone who will come to her rescue.

A man who was sitting in the nearby bus witnessed the violent assault and while many people probably wouldn’t have even left their seat that man decided to take action. The passenger leaves the bus and goes after the mugger.

Things get violent again but this time it’s the mugger who finds himself at the receiving end of the beatdown. The passenger punches the mugger, who falls to the ground. The passenger throws some follow-up ground and pound strikes for good measure. The mugger is done and stunned.

Rarely do you see such a gesture of help in the streets so enjoy.
