A youth soccer game in Spain became the scene of a bloody off-pitch punch-up between two dads that resulted in one of them being hospitalized.
The altercation took place in the second half of a match between UD Telde and UD Guia on the island of Gran Canaria between two fathers who had been watching their teenage sons play from the sideline of the pitch.
It’s not clear what caused the two to begin arguing, but the 53 year-old man wearing the yellow top and sneakers escalated the situation drastically when he suddenly headbutted the other man, who was wearing all blue.
The impact of the blow can be heard in the video footage, but the victim retaliates instantly to that cheapshot with a counter left handed slap and then goes on the offensive in search of payback.

Yellow-Top is quickly overwhelmed as his victim cracks him with a hard right hook and a few lefts behind it before unleashing a series of uppercuts.
Eventually Yellow-Top is able to retreat from the onslaught, wiping at his now blood-soaked face as he does so.
For a moment it looks as if the two are going to start fighting again as they square off for a second time, but then the clearly overmatched Yellow-Top has second thoughts about taking another beating at the hands of his rival and opts to just walk away.
According to reports, Yellow-Top was then taken to hospital, where he underwent an operation on his eye, which hopefully served as a painful lesson that headbutting someone is not a smart way to solve an argument.
“>
This was an isolated incident that had nothing to do with the match and we condemn it as it damages the image of the game,” UD Guia Coordinator Mario De La Santa stated afterwards.
Police are now investigating the incident after being given the names of both parents.
