There are a number baffling Guinness world records in the martial arts category.

6, by Oscar Braganza, Daraius Cooper, Shahaan Davierwalla, Hanoz Kasad, Vispy Kharadi, Priyank Rana, and led by Vispy Kasad. Combined weight of the people forming the layers was 462 kg (1,000 lbs +).
There is also a category for Three Taekwondo Black Belts attempt the highest assisted kick world record, which is only a little weird. And there are others make more sense, like the highest Taekwondo kick ever, as Taekwondo is known as a kicking art.
The attempt was made by Pascal Gentil, the greatest Taekwondo practitioner in French history, and a man who does things his way.

The three-time winner of the European Championships, four-time World Cup Champion, and Olympic bronze medalist at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, appeared on French television and attempted to kick over 2.60 meters (8′ 6″).
Gentil himself is 1.98 meters (6′ 6″) tall, giving him a leg up on the competition.
