Although we get to enjoy fight after fight on a weekly basis with veterans and champions alike, there has always been a curiosity among fans on how a trained mixed martial artist who fare in a street fight where there are no refs, no gloves and of course no rules.
Famous examples range from the hilariously and entertaining exploits of UFC Hall of Famer Bas Rutten, as well as the chase and arrest by former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones just before he took the title away from then champion Shogun Rua.
In this instance of trained MMA fighter against street thug, Ultimate Fighter veteran Cody Bollinger just happened to be in the right place at the right time when two robbers in Temucula, California were on a car break in spree only to get a rude awakening when they reached the fighters car to take his belongings.

It’s about 4 in the morning, these two stupid f***s behind me were going around breaking into my car. One got a black eye, but both are getting arrested. Cody shared on his Facebook page.
They tried breaking into everybody’s car, so I lied low and waited until they came to mine and tried to open my door. Couple of tweakers trying to steal cars.
Both men were arrested on the scene with one held down by Cody until law enforcement arrived.
So to all would-be thieves out there, don’t try rob the car of a professional fighter.
