The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s long storied Octagon is the stage for many intense, brutal moments and a place where we’ve all seen plenty of blood, sweat and tears. So it’s nice to take a break for 5 minutes and just enjoy the pleasant sight of a beautiful and physically fit woman circling the cage and reminding us all what round is about to begin.

Back in 2012, which is what some fans may call the heyday of the UFC Octagon girls, Arianny Celeste and Brittney Palmer traveled to Culver City, California to get the body paint treatment and help promote the then upcoming bantamweight title fight between challenger Urijah Faber and then champion Renan Barao.

Arianny, what’s this like right now? asks a man off screen.

A little chilly! she replies.

Moments later we see just why exactly Arianny is so chilly, as heavy, cumbersome clothing is removed and cast off, only to be replaced by the much lighter and more form fitting body paint.

Arianny begins it’s a little weird because we feel like we’re naked, but… before Brittney finishes her sentence with, And we are! which brings smiles to both women’s faces.

The endeavor of painting flawless bodies flawlessly is not a quick one, as Arianny is quick to attest.

The whole process, start to finish, takes about six hours, but it’s worth it.

Any fan of the human form could not help but agree that despite being time consuming, the end result is indeed very much worth it.
