Throughout Conor McGregor’s career the brash Irishman has made a habit of making bold predictions of how his fights will end and more often and not they come true. So let’s take at the Top 3 Mystic Mac Predictions that came to fruition.
3) UFC Fight Night: McGregor vs. Brandao
Now 2-0 inside the UFC, Conor McGregor returned as a headliner to his home of Ireland taking on Brazilian Diego Brandao and according to Conor the fight wasn’t going to last long.
“He’s gonna be on the back foot… he’ll have his back against the fence from the bell and I’m gonna press him and press him and crack him with shot’s he’s never felt.
Then, ultimately he will crumble and I don’t think he’ll get out of the first round.
After shutting down Brandao’s submission attempts, Conor turned up the heat on the Brazilian and got the job down at 4:05 of round one.
2) UFC 194: Aldo vs McGregor
After claiming the interim strap at 145lb after Jose Aldo got injured, Conor McGregor finally got his chance to unify the belts at UFC 194. In a pre-fight interview with MMA analyst Robin Black, Conor made this bold prediction.
“I felt when we stared down, I felt his right hand was twitching, which was a subtle tell for me. He’s ready to unload that right hand and I feel that could be a downfall for him. If he lets that right hand go, I will not be there.”
After a few tense seconds in the first round, Jose did indeed unload that right hand as predicted only to get caught with a McGregor left hook. Thirteen seconds and just like that Conor was the undisputed champion.

1) UFC 189: McGregor vs Mendes
When Jose Aldo pulled out of UFC 189, Chad Mendes stepped in his place to take on the Irishman for the interim featherweight strap. Despite the last minute change Conor was so confident in his abilities he put a bet out there of $3 million to Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta that he’d KO Mendes in the second round.
Fortunately for White and Fertitta they didn’t take the offer, as Conor ended the contest at 4:57 of round two.
