At first glance this video might look like just another subway beatdown caught on camera, but it’s worth sticking around for the surprisingly heart-warming conclusion to this violent altercation.
The video appears to have been taken at the Pennsylvania station subway in New York City and starts with the fight already well underway, so the reason things got physical between the two men in the first place isn’t apparent.
What is clear, however, is that the guy with his shirt off is significantly smaller than his rival, a tall man wearing a light gray top and dark gray joggers.
As it turns out though, the size difference doesn’t prove to be a disadvantage for Shirt-Off as he just ducks underneath his opponent’s punches and executes a huge takedown, hoisting Gray-Top into the air and slamming him hard onto the subway floor.

That takes the fight right out of his rival, but to his credit, while he’s still hot-under-the-collar and shouting at the man, Shirt-Off doesn’t make any attempt to hit him while he’s down.
Gray-Top is helped back to his feet by another bystander and backs away a few steps, before motioning to his still irate opponent that he doesn’t want to fight any more.
Shirt-Off’s demeanor changes instantly, walking over to shake the man’s hand and then gives him a hug and a pat on the back.
Rather than yelling the typical ‘Worldstar!’ type remarks we’ve come to expect in these videos, the guy filming seems touched by this show of humanity between the two.
Oh, they’re Gucci now. They’re brothers now, he’s heard saying, before adding with admiration in his voice, That’s love…that’s love, as Shirt-Off hands his opponent something to wipe the blood off his face with.

It’s a shame the two fighters couldn’t just have shown that same level of respect and compassion beforehand and resolved their differences without resorting to violence, but nonetheless, they should be commended for coming to a peaceful resolution in the end.
