Fighting in school is never a good idea, but an argument could be made that this student had a righteous cause to enter this fight.

Two teens are brawling wildly up against a desk when the teacher moves to break it up. These kids are bigger than she is and one of them is swinging so wildly his hoodie covers his face. He continues throwing wild, reckless punches blindly just as the teacher intervenes and connects with a solid blow to her face.

She turns away, stunned by the blow, a typical reaction from a person with no training and no personal stake in the fight. The student who hit her pauses briefly, then resumes his fight with the other teen. What should be noted about this guy is that his punches don’t look any different whether he can see or not. Luckily, he didn’t have enough power in his hands to seriously hurt her.

The same is not true for the main character of this story. While other students move away and distance themselves, one kid has seen enough and steps in, delivering a hard, straight right hand that absolutely levels the boy who hit the teacher.

The teen who hit him rips his earbuds out, then proceeds to snatch one of the combatants up and toss him aside easily, like a bag of garbage. The room goes silent as he stands between the two, screaming at them. One of them having been floored with a punch to the face, and the other having been easily manhandled, they are both intimidated and things calm down.

This teacher would have a hard time convincing her students that violence never solves anything after this one.
