Any type of strike can pose a threat to knock someone unconscious— even a slap. Ink Masters is known to have friendly slap-off contests hosted by Richie Bulldog at their tattoo trade show, The Ink Masters Tattoo Show. At this particular March convention in Odessa, Texas, Ink Masters hosted a slap-off championship match to draw in big crowds— men, women and children alike crowded the venue in hopes of witnessing a slap knockout.

The participants began by playing a round of ‘rock, paper, scissors’ to determine who will slap first. After covering rock with paper, it is decided that the tattooed gentleman with the toque, Willy Beaman, gets to draw first blood and he makes the best of his good fortune— landing a positively scintillating slap that sends his hatless but equally tattooed competitor to the ground after being rendered momentarily unconscious. At this point in the video, the crowd erupts into applause and celebration after witnessing one of the most telling slaps of the event.

Willy Beaman is only the second man to ever knock out an opponent during an Ink Masters slap-off showdown. The first ever knockout was done by a husky man with facial tattoos at a previous Ink Masters Tattoo Show in Lubbock, Texas. The former slap king is present at this event and is seen congratulating Willy on his slap knockout with a friendly handshake.

Off camera, as the slap-off continued, the toque-wearing victor advanced to the final round— opposite a much larger and more intimidating foe. The two exchanged slaps until the big man eventually conceded defeat.
