France born William Burkhardt is a professional photographer, with an extraordinary passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, that takes you not just to the mats, but into the hear of the art.
“It’s work,” he explained the BJJPix founder to to BJJStyle. “I sit hours by the mats waiting for action to happen. I will take 1000 to 2000 photos in a day tournament, keep 600 of them, publish 30 on the website and 1 or 2 on my Instagram.”
He is not just a professional sports photographer, he is also a professional nude and implied nude photographer. The intersection of the two has caused a degree of controversy.
However, the devout vegan frames both men and women with the utmost respect at the pinnacle of combat sports success. And he frames both men and women with an eye towards sexual attractiveness.
It’s sensual not sexist; the controversy comes not from progressives, but from prudes. A selection of pics from his amazing Instagram feed tells the truth far better than words can.
