This road raging Russian thug got more than he bargained for when he picked a fight with a man on a motorcycle.

The incident, captured on the dash cam of another motorist behind them, begins with a black car and a motorcyclist stopped side-by-side at a set of traffic lights in Russia.

It appears the two parties are talking, but suddenly the driver aims a punch at the motorcyclist from the window of his car. He then reaches out at him again, which forces the biker to respond in kind with a punch of his own.

In a rage, the driver then opens his door and rams the motorcyclist with it twice, then steps out onto the road, revealing himself to be a stocky, overweight man in a gray sleeveless vest.

Another passer-by attempts to intervene at this point and gets in-between the two men, which gives the motorcyclist time to back his bike up and park it, then take off his helmet.

The driver, who’s the older of the two, then approaches and squares up to the motorcyclist, so the biker pushes him away. The man starts to come back at him again, but the biker stands his ground and floors him with a solid one-two to the face.

The biker aims a kick at his body and then retreats to the sidewalk, but his adversary picks himself back off the road and goes after him again, adopting a boxing stance as he does so.

Again the biker is easily able to drop the bigger man with another two-punch combo down the pipe, but shows restraint by not attacking him while he’s on the ground.

As other onlookers step in to try to calm the situation down, the driver finally accepts that he’s made a big mistake messing with the biker and retreats back to his car and speeds off.

There are a lot of potential techniques that can be used in a self-defense situation, but few are more tried and tested than the classic one-two boxing combo, as the biker in this video demonstrated.

Thanks to geometry we know that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, so from a striking perspective, the jab and cross is a great combination to land against untrained street fighters who will typically resort to throwing wide, looping punches.
