Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art combat system that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was formed from Kodokan judo ground fighting fundamentals that were taught by a number of individuals including Takeo Yano, Mitsuyo Maeda, and Soshihiro Satake.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu eventually came to be its own art through the experiments, practices, and adaptation of Judo through Carlos and Helio Gracie as well as other instructors and years later is still being utilized by nearly every mixed martial artist on every level.

Jason Mayhem Miller is an American mixed martial arts fighter and TV host. Miller trains at Mercado Muay Thai in Mission Viejo, California and at Kings MMA in Huntington Beach, California. He has fought in the UFC, Strikeforce, WFA, WEC, and DREAM. In his career, Miller beat Robbie Lawler, Tim Kennedy, Denis Kang, and Kazushi Sakuraba, among others.

Rener Gracie is a Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, a head instructor at the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Acadamy, and co-creator of Gracie University. As a member of the Gracie family, he is the grandson of Grandmaster Helio Gracie, and the second eldest son of Rorion Gracie, the father of Gracie jiu-jitsu in the United States. Rener is also known as the husband of actress, model, and former pre-wrestler, the record three-time WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres.

So how would a grappling match between these two legends of sport pan out? The video below answers just such questions. These two have established themselves as legends in their own right and in fact, their own sport, however, they now meet on common ground…the Jiu-Jitsu mat. What may not be known to most is that Jason Miller is in fact a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blackbelt.
