Over fifty years ago at the Long Beach International Karate Championships, martial arts legend and icon Bruce Lee showcased his array of techniques and philosophies in front of a large crowd of martial artists and enthusiasts alike in what was a sign of bigger things to come. One demonstration by Lee that particularly stood out was his incredible two finger push ups which showcased his amazing strength and conditioning in his digits.

Likely inspired by this display another Chinese martial artist by the name of Xie Guizhong decided to turn things up a notch, where in December of 2011 he set a new Guinness World Record of the highest amount of consecutive one finger push ups within a 30 second time span on the set of the Guinness World Records Special in Beijing, China.

After a grueling thirty seconds Xie Guizhong who likely had a bit of a sore finger managed to achieve an incredible 41 pushups giving him the world record that is unlikely to be beaten anytime soon.
