The Underground does not condone physical violence unless it is necessary to defend one’s self in a dangerous situation. Bullying is a serious problem in the United States and all over the world wide, but thanks to several Anti-Bully campaigns, awareness of bullying has grown and more often than not bystanders are less likely to stand by and watch it happen.

Bullies often pick victims who they perceive to be physically or mentally weaker. It’s more common for a bully to a bigger older person than the victim, but it’s not always the case. Bullies will pick on whoever they think will let them.

Fortunately, sometimes bullies pick the wrong target and victim’s can fight back. In this quick clip, a bully is verbally threatening a larger kid and then attacks, throwing several shots to the face, but apparently the kid he picked on is super tough and takes everything the bully has and then decides to fight back and put it on his bully:

Prevention at School

A teacher talks to a class of teens. Bullying can threaten students’ physical and emotional safety at school and can negatively impact their ability to learn. The best way to address bullying is to stop it before it starts. There are a number of things school staff can do to make schools safer and prevent bullying.

Getting Started

Assess school prevention and intervention efforts around student behavior, including substance use and violence. You may be able to build upon them or integrate bullying prevention strategies. Many programs help address the same protective and risk factors that bullying programs do.
