BJJ and now WMMA rising star Mackenzie Dern is quickly taking the world by storm, and she’s only had two pro fights so far! Part of the reason her name is getting out there so quickly is thanks to videos like these that she puts out there to familiarize herself to the masses.

As far as female fighters go, she is extremely attractive and that sure helps to get you noticed in a sport where marketing yourself and promotion is a very important component of how much you are going to make.

Mackenzie’s specialty is obviously BJJ, which you can see her practice in the video, as she is the number one ranked female black belt in the world by IBJJF. Her striking is clearly improving quite rapidly too judging from the video.

It’s important for Mackenzie to stick to her roots though as she moves forward, which is grappling, so she doesn’t end up like Ronda Rousey who abandoned her grappling in favor of her newly learned striking skills.

Also in the video is some footage of her strength and conditioning routine where you can see her performing such exercises like pull ups as well as squats which are an important exercise that all fighters and athletes can benefit from.

Another big part of her routine is dancing where she clearly is quite talented in that art too. Her dancing ability could possibly help her footwork in striking too as she makes the transition to professional MMA.
