Martial Arts is a term that a lot of people misunderstand, misconstrue, an even misuse as it holds different meanings to different people. It is diabolical in nature in that it literally has two completely different meanings to two types of people. First, there is the group of people who do not practice martial arts, may or may not be fans of mixed martial arts, and by and large live their life martial arts-free. These types of people generally think of martial arts as simply fighting.

The next group of people are those who practice martial arts, have practiced martial arts in the past, or are such fans of the martial arts that they truly understand its meaning. They understand that one of the facets of the martial arts is in fact fighting but that is only a portion of what the martial arts are all about. They understand that the martial arts are a way of life; a code in which one lives by that not only dictates how they fight but how they live their life. This is what we see exemplified in the video below.

Below, we see a martial arts practitioner, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to be more specific, being attacked. With the skill set that the BJJ practitioner holds he has a variety of options including breaking a bone, choking the man unconscious, or even controlling the attacker and holding him in a position to which he could relentlessly punch him inflicting maximum damage. However; as previously stated, there is a code in which martial artists live by, so check out the video below to see how this martial artist handles being attacked.
