Due to the popularity of Ip Man film franchise, the martial art of Wing Chun has had a massive resurgence recently.

The films name sake Wing Chun legend Ip Man (also known as Yip Man) is perhaps one of the most famous and revered men in the history of Chinese Martial Arts, but unfortunately there is only a small amount of documented footage of him training, leaving much of his legacy in the hands of his students which include his two children.

On this edition of Mind, Body & Kick Ass moves Cris Crudelli travels to Hong Kong to meet with Ip Man’s eldest son Ip Chun who is continuing his father’s legacy. Born in 1924 he and his brother started training at a young age under their father. After spending his days as an accountant and news reporter in Hong Kong, he began teaching the art at the Wing Chun Athletic Association that was founded by his father in the sixties and eventually took it over after Ip Man’s death in 1972.

Additionally when the 2008 film Ip Man went into production, Ip Chun served as the main consultant whilst staying involved in future projects on the subject of his father.

Mind, Body & Kick Ass Moves is a television program that was broadcast on BBC Three in the United Kingdom. Presented by martial artist Chris Crudelli the documentary style series follows his travels around the far east exploring different martial arts and learning the secret skills and knowledge of the ‘Grandmasters’. The ten episode series investigates aspects of each different martial art by filming the masters demonstrating their style and skills.

Each episode focuses on a mix of different martial arts and masters and shows Crudelli taking some martial arts and tricks to the streets, in a style similar to street magic. [source :wiki]
