The name of the game as indicated in the title of this article says it all and is more or less self-explanatory: The Slap Game. Two participants simply stand in front of each other and take turns slapping each other in the face with an open hand. The rules of the game are a bit unclear however; it is clear to see in the video below how the contest ends.

From a cursory search, the official rules of the game appear to be non-existent but with a bit of video research it seems pretty evident what the object is: to simply slap your opponent in the face, allow him to slap you, and the first one to quit loses; simple right? After watching the video below it would appear that there is an alternative way to win which is much more devastating and brutal.

This game has gained so much popularity that it shows up consistently in a bracket-style competition at nearly every Ink Master’s Tattoo Convention. Ink Master is a reality tv show that airs on Spike featuring host Dave Navarro and features tattoo artists who compete in various challenges assessing their tattoo and other artistic abilities and skills. Exactly how the slap game correlates with a tattoo convention is a bit of mystery but one thing that is not a mystery is the sheer entertainment value of such a spectacle.

In the short video clip below what the viewer is witnessing is one such round of the aforementioned competition. After each competitor engages in their first slap, the game quickly comes to an end in a brutal and finalizing fashion that one simply must see to believe!
