There aren’t many people that leave the house during the day or at night that intend to get into a street fight. There are some that do but those people are few and far between as the average Joe has no intentions of getting into a physical altercation…EVER.
However; there are circumstances that arise, especially when you are with your significant other who, with all due respect, is fairly easy on the eyes, in which you must defend yourself.
Well, neither www.mixedmartialarts.com nor myself promote street fighting or physical acts of violence in any form or fashion but there are those occasions that arise which simply require that you defend yourself or the consequences could be dire.
These are situations that your safety and your life, as well as that of your significant other, depends on your knowledge and ability to perform in a self-defense situation…enter Nick Drossos.

He offers an interesting scenario in the description below:
Here is an interesting scenario. A couple is walking down the street, and two attackers are trying to pick up the guy’s girlfriend.
If you are with someone you must protect, and there are multiple attackers, the best course of action is to shield that person with your own body, trying to focus on all the attackers at once.
Naturally, you will not be able to keep it up forever, so identify the biggest threat (the one closest to you, or the one who is likely carrying a weapon) and attack as fast and as hard as you can! Then immediately switch to the other attacker or attackers. There is no knowing how such a situation might develop, so if both of you can run away, do so!
