In today’s society a lot of avid sports fans have become what we like to call in the world of academia armchair philosophers. These are your Monday morning quarterbacks, desk jockeys, and former high school superstars who have the seen-it-on-tv mentality which primarily consist of comments that begin with the phrase if that were me I would have… or if I were in there I could… Rarely does anything ever come of these comments but every now and again someone is just crazy enough or just dumb enough to act on these comments; usually at the daft encouragement of their buddies.

Below we find a gentleman who finds himself in a situation as described above. The background story is not entirely known but what we do know is the man in jeans apparently has doubts in regards to the effectiveness of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Not one to sit around and simply run his mouth he decides to take things a step further and actually go to a BJJ school and express his opinions; basically the modern day version of the old school dojo storm.

One does not have to be a knowledgeable martial arts practitioner, an avid UFC or MMA fan, or even a sports fan for that to matter to make a pretty good prediction as to how this encounter turns out. The rules of the match are unclear as well particularly in regards to whether or not strikes are allowed. There is a bit of chatter in regards to strikes but the question goes unanswered however; it is obvious that even if the dojo stormer is allowed to strike, he simply does not have time to engage in fisticuffs. See how this brave soul fairs below…
