Is there anyone on Earth who is a fan of the sucker punch? There is something about seeing an unprepared person take a punch to the face by an opportunistic attacker that makes the vast majority of people who are watching long to see the attacker receive his or her just desserts in the form of a well-deserved beatdown.
The following scene is brought to us from the TruTV reality-documentary television series Black Gold, filmed in the big oil town of Odessa, Texas.
What comes before the scene is unclear. Based on the verbal exchange between those involved, as well as what is said by those who bared witness, it could have been precipitated by anything from a playful arm around the neck to an uninvited and unwanted choke hold.
After a brief verbal exchange, what resulted was the larger man, who claims to have been choked, landing his best left hand on the smaller, unsuspecting man. Failing to follow up his sucker punch with additional strikes, possibly under the false assumption that the man he was attacking would simply take it, the larger man stands watching and admiring his work.

The men clinch briefly, with the larger man securing a headlock, which the smaller man then uses to take the fight to the floor. It is there he maintains top control and reigns down upon the larger man a series of powerful blows that find their mark and leave the sucker puncher bloodied, unconscious, and snoring on the floor.
