This intoxicated antagonist was aimlessly harassing complete strangers at Minnesota’s Soundset music festival. Our first glimpse of him shows that his face is host to a fresh cut – assumingly from a separate altercation earlier that day. So this certainly isn’t his first time pushing other people’s buttons. He knew he was playing with fire but he couldn’t have anticipated getting scorched like this.

It’s not clear what words were exchanged between the two men, but from body language alone it’s obvious that the victim here wasn’t welcoming the interaction and would prefer to be left alone. The antagonist is willfully ignorant to this of course. He continues to instigate and harass his target.

Suddenly, onlookers catch whiff that things are getting heated and they surround the men. The antagonist stumbles forward into the victim’s personal space and in return is met with a shove to the ground. The soon-to-be knockout artist isn’t trying to engage in a fight unless he must. He gave the bully a chance to walk away and avoid violence.

At this point, the bully should have realized that he was barking up the wrong tree and was about to get handled. This conflict could have easily fizzled out and resulted in neither party getting seriously hurt.

Instead, the bully decides to go all out and he throws the first punch. His fist cracks the victim right in the jaw, knocking his hat off of his head. The victim recovers quickly from the punch and immediately pushes his assailant to the ground.

The victim plants his feet firmly, waiting for his antagonist to get up off the ground. The antagonist stands back up with trepidation in his eyes as the victim unloads a powerful punch. The bully falls limp to the ground and the crowd goes wild. An unfortunate, yet warranted conclusion to the scrap at Soundset.
