There are a few things worse than a sucker punch to begin a street fight but not many. While it is true that in a street fight the one who throws the first punch usually ends up winning there is also a certain amount of etiquette or street fighting chivalry if you will that one must engage in. Street fighting in and of itself has very few, if any, rules however; there are a few ‘understoods’ that seem to be universally abided by and in the scenarios in which they aren’t the consequences seem to be brutal.
First and foremost, it is almost universally agreed upon that simply attacking another person without them being aware of the situation is uncalled for, unwarranted, reprehensible, and downright dirty. Following closely in the footsteps of the unspoken rule stated in the sentence previously is the sucker punch.

To simply throw the first punch without warning or unexpectedly is not exactly the most chivalrous ways of beginning a fight especially not a fair fight. In the video below we see what can happen when the wrong person is sucker punched. We witness the end of an argument in which the gentleman on the receiving end of the punch does not seem to see it coming.
Appearing to be a bit dazed after the initial punch is thrown, the man quickly regains his bearings and realizes that he is now in fact involved in a full on street fight. Quickly assessing the situation and dropping the bag he was holding; the man who received the sucker punch quickly goes to work and does so in devastating fashion.
