5 masked men with machetes force their way into 55-year-old martial arts expert’s home

55-year-old sales manager, David Pugh, was asleep at 3am when 5 masked men with machetes, baseball bats, and golf clubs stormed his house in Solihull, West Midlands.

Pugh, who is trained in Krav Maga, said “instinct took over” when he found them attacking his 17-year-old son and his 20-week-old puppy.

The father-of-two said the men kept shouting: “Where’s the money? Give us your money!”
Pugh said “I was getting dizzy. I took quite a few blows to the head.”

Their dog Zeus had been found afterward, thrown in a canal and left to die after being hit with a machete on the head. Zeus is expected to make a full recovery.

After 10 minutes, the gang gave up and retreated with no score.
