The two guys involved in this fight appeared to be relatively evenly matched in terms of their boxing ability, but only one of them would still be conscious by the end of the video.

Given that the two fighters had gone to the trouble of protecting their hands by wearing boxing gloves, it’s hard to understand why they didn’t also look out for their heads by at least finding a patch of grass to fight on rather than just concrete.

Neither they, nor the group of spectators forming a circle around them, seemed to care though.

A familiar pattern emerged as the two boxed each other, with the guy in the blue and white vest heavily favoring his left hook, while his opponent in the red t-shirt and shorts was repeatedly looking for body shots.

Around the midway point of the fight red-shirt lands a nice kidney shot, but blue-vest rallies soon after with a short flurry of punches, and a couple of his left hooks find the mark.

Just for a moment blue-vest takes a deep breath and shows signs of tiredness, so perhaps red-shirt’s body work is taking a toll, but by focusing so much on that he’s missing opportunities to counter off his opponent’s predictable left hook.

In the end though, after utilizing that left hook so often in the fight, it’s actually blue-vest’s right hook, set up by a jab, that eventually ends the fight, landing flush to the face of his opponent.

The impact sends red-shirt falling ass-first onto the concrete and he then lays there spreadeagled for a few seconds with blood running from his nose before thankfully regaining consciousness.

A KO like that could easily result in the fighter falling back and hitting the back of his head hard off the ground, which is the leading cause of serious concussions and even death in a street fight situation.

NOTE: If you do ever have the urge to test your boxing skills, please be smart about it and sign up for a local boxing gym rather than seeking out fights on the street.
