Fighting someone who fought in the UFC is never a good idea. You are most definitely going to lose and it’s for sure going to hurt.
The UFC vet in this video is Chad Griggs who competed at heavyweight no less. He’s clearly much bigger than his opponent. They couldn’t find someone closer in size?
The first right hand he lands knocks this guy down and you can clearly hear the audible ‘crack’ sound of a good, hard punch landing from a big man. You’ve got to hand it to the guy here. Most people wouldn’t get back up after getting cracked that hard that early in the fight.

They resume the action and Griggs comes at him hard throwing a head kick and following it up with a series of hard right hands pretty much just landing at will. He is mercifully given a standing eight count to get his bearings back but I don’t think it’s going to make much of a difference.
The referee even asks him before restarting the action “You want to go again?” I think he was trying to give him some subtle advice here. Perhaps he should have considered it a little longer. On the other hand you’ve got to give him credit for going back out there.
Griggs starts throwing leg kicks at him next and he doesn’t know what to do. Griggs then closes the distance lands a few glancing blows which put him down and the fight is thankfully stopped before someone gets hurt.
Griggs is classy after the match and gives his opponent respect for ‘getting in there’ which is all you can really say. This video really shows you the vast difference in skill that a high level pro MMA fighter has over the rest of the population.
