A video has gone viral of a Vietnam cop Kung-Fu kicking a couple off a motorcyle.
According to Thanh Nien News, on Monday a couple was seen driving down Hanoi’s Xa Dan Street on motorcycle, in the wrong direction, without a helmet. Police urged the riders to stop, but were ignored.
A video camera attached to the rear of a moving vehicle captures that happened next.
An officer whose name is being withheld pending an investigation, can be seen runnign across the street through traffic, and positions himself as if he was about to side kick a board in a martial arts demonstration.

As the motorcycle drives past him, he does a left side kick that lands with remarkable timing. The motorcycle, rider, and passenger then veers into the curb and topples over into the median. As the video closes, the policeman surveys his handiwork, and moves towards the now downed vehicle.
Deputy chief of Hanoi Traffic Police, senior Lieutenant-colonel Dinh Thanh Thao reports that the officer has been suspended, ordered to report on the case, and that an investigation had been launched. Results of the investigation will be made public in several days.
We will strictly punish any officer with wrongdoings, said ieutenant-colonel Thao.
Thao also reported that the 1,300 members of the Hanoi police will be asked to learn a valuable cautionary lesson in how not to deal with traffic violators.
The driver of the motorcycle, Nguyen Van Tuan, 20, was not physically injured. However, Tuan was fined 2,000,000 Vietnamese Dong (approximately US$90). Further, the vehicle has been impounded for 30 days.
