Although Conan O’Brien is best known as a talk show host and comedy writer, it might surprise you that he is also a budding action superstar which was showcased at 2016’s Comic Con in a gritty fight sequence with fellow comedian Andy Richter.

But show regular and fight choreographer Steven Ho thinks Conan has become a bit rusty and requires some extra training to brush up on his basic techniques.

Starting off with some stretching exercises that make Conan call Steven a bad gynecologist, the pair go through a series of self defense techniques.

Starting off with a basic hammer fist strike, they move onto executing a front kick as well as a double leg take down on a large opponent. After Conan gets a handle on these moves, he gets his striking power tested in the form of breaking a water melon with his hand.
