A correctly applied choke-hold isn’t the sort of thing your average man on the street can just will his way out of, but it was pointless trying to explain that to the redneck in this video – he had to learn his lesson the hard way.

The bald-headed, tattooed redneck was absolutely convinced that his gray-haired, pot-bellied, glasses-wearing friend couldn’t submit him, and so he agreed to a $25 bet to prove it.

There ain’t no way this motherf***er is going to tap me out, The cocky redneck boasted on camera. He ain’t gonna choke me out or nothing. I’m gonna whoop his ass and lay him on the ground.

It was time to put his money where his mouth is, and so the older guy stepped up behind him and sunk in a standing rear-naked choke, sliding his right arm underneath his redneck friend’s neck and then clasping hold of his left bicep, while his left hand was secured behind his opponent’s head.

He then starts to apply pressure on the check, and almost instantly the cocky redneck’s whole demeanor changes as he grimaces and grabs frantically at his companion’s arm.

Just a few seconds later the redneck goes back on his original claim that he couldn’t be tapped out as he starts desperately tapping on his friend’s leg.

Moments after that his second vow not to be choked out also goes by the wayside as he slumps unconscious to the ground, taking an impromptu nap while spread-eagled on the road as those watching start laughing.

A short while later the redneck comes too and is helped back to his feet, looking rather sheepish about having had his ego having been brought back to earth with a bump.

Goddamn it, I needed that goddamn money, he grumbles as he contemplates the fact that he’s now going to be the laughing stock among his circle of friends for the foreseeable future.
