The unfortunate loser of this amateur fight had to contend with not only getting brutally knocked out, but also then having his clueless coach clumsily manhandle him afterwards.

The fight starts tentatively, but it begins to heat up in the latter portion of the video when the boxer in the black t-shirt lands a straight right to the head of his opponent.

That gives him the confidence to unload with a combination, but he fails to connect, and the fighter wearing headgear responds with an overhand left that finds the mark.

Soon afterwards the guy in headgear lands a nice body shot, straight to the solar plexus.

Reflexively, his opponent’s hands drop to protect his body as another punch comes his way, but unfortunately for him this one’s going upstairs.

The straight left lands flush to his unprotected head, knocking him out cold.

In hindsight the KO’d fighter will surely wish he had also chosen to wear headgear as the back of his head thumps off the floor as he falls, and afterwards his body goes into a spasm.

In a street fight situation you often see bystanders panicking at moments like this, which leads to them doing completely the wrong thing by immediately attempting to pick the person back up, rather than just leaving them where they are to come to.

That’s not something you would expect from a boxing coach though, as he should know better.

However, that’s exactly what happens here, as he hauls the dazed and confused fighter up, mid-spasm, and unceremoniously dumps him in a nearby chair.

Thankfully the fighter seems to be ok afterwards, but if you find yourself in similar circumstances, please give the person time to regain consciousness on the ground and ensure that they are ok first before carefully helping them to sit up.
