People crave attention. It’s human and normal, to an extent.
I mean, don’t we all feel good when someone sends a ‘like’ or a Re-tweet our way? We’ve all been guilty of this.
Now, there are a lot of ways you can show off to people and gain their validation; that could be by shining at sports, engaging in charity activities, being helpful to others, having an awesome hobby (did someone say ‘training monkeys to skateboard’?)…
Whatever floats your boat really.
Some people, though, on top of craving attention, needs to hide their own insecurities by picking on others. They think that makes them tough. They’ll start by making fun of someone and cracking jokes. Usually, if the victim doesn’t fight back (verbally or physically), things escalate.
It is sometimes a very long process, and the victims have to endure it every second of their lives. It’s no more mere messing around past a certain point and bullying can lead to the victims of such vile acts taking their own lives in the most extreme cases.
That is why bullying is terrible and why it has to be stopped at the very early stages. Fortunately, the kid sitting in this video stood his ground to the douche bag bully.

The bully lay hands on the sitting kid, and taunts him about his hairstyle. This tough act gets him a few laughs from the class. Good job clown, too bad you’re getting knocked out soon…
The bullied kid remains calm though. That is, until the bully slaps his head and asks him ‘What you gonna do about it?’
Oh boy, do I love this phrase…
I do love it because it is a usually a sure sign of bullies getting put to sleep soon, and that is exactly what is happening here. The bullied kid, fed up with the bully’s act, stands up and throws a devastating right overhand to the bully’s jaw. The bully hits the ground almost instantly, laying unconscious in a starfish-like pose. Justice served.
