The video starts with a man seemingly getting close to a female passenger. The bus they are riding isn’t particularly crowd and there is no need for him to be lurking so close to her. The woman seems to ignore this as typically public transport can be quiet crowded in big Asian cities and it may be normal to have other passengers in your personal space.

The bus stops and many passengers leave with few getting on. This creates even more space and highlights how unnecessary it is to stand in such close proximity.

The lady moves away and rests against the bus furniture while remaining standing. The man looks around and finally re-positions himself behind the woman again. She is unaware of him as all the time she has been fixated on her cell phone.

He looks around nervously and slides his hand towards her, he strokes her bag and puts his fingers inside. Trying to appear innocent he is doing this while staring in the opposite direction. He isn’t as smooth as he thinks and the woman feels the movement in her bag and catches him.

She grabs hold of his wrist, exhibiting strong control, and begins to shout but none of the other passengers come to her aid. He finally engages in an argument with her and tries to pull his hand free. Still holding onto her precious phone with one hand she pushes his wrist back and he drops to his knees in pain.

Not content with thwarting his attempted robbery, she picks him up, spins him around and delivers a front kick which sends him over vacant seats.

Many of the passengers watch on silently or video it on their phones but none intervened. Luckily she didn’t require their assistance.
