There aren’t many people that leave the house during the day or at night that intend to get into a street fight. There are some that do but those people are few and far between as the average Joe has no intentions of getting into a physical altercation…EVER. However; there are those exceptions in which putting yourself in imminent danger is a job requirement, such as a police officer. Even more rare are the life threatening or life changing situations where a person may have to defend themselves because their life is quite literally at risk which again falls into the category of a professional lawman.
There are those instances when this happens and it seems to happen more prevalently in the life of a police officer, especially one in China. Well, neither www.mixedmartialarts.com nor myself promote street fighting or physical acts of violence in any form or fashion but there are those occasions that arise which simply require that you defend yourself or you may in fact lose your life. These are situations that your safety and your life depends on your knowledge and ability to perform in a self-defense situation as well as diffuse and de-escalate the situation…enter the Chinese police force.

The Chinese police force has spent decades evolving a self-defense system for its officers that is based on a plethora of martial arts. In fact, it could be described as the epitome of mixed martial arts in that it utilizes techniques from any proven art. This police force is one of the most well-prepared forces ever devised as evident in the video below.
