Working security can be a tough, stressful job. You have to deal with conflict on a daily basis and oftentimes for very little pay. It is not a difficult field to get into though and some security guards get off on the little power they possess and abuse that power to make themselves feel bigger than they really are. The security guard in this YouTube video is an example of one of those inept guards.

It’s clear that the guard in this video is not a good fit for the job. Though we do not know what occurred before the filming of this video, there is no excuse for this guy to be behaving the way he does. He is the one who gets physical first when he trips the skate border and that could have resulted in a serious injury. He then threatens the kid “Next time I’ll break your arm,” he says to him which is completely out of line and unnecessary. This guy clearly has some issues. He even tries to go after the guy filming this encounter which is completely within the cameraman’s right to do so.

The guard then grabs the kid’s skateboard and that’s when the fight breaks out. The skateboarder shoves the guard which was wrong of him. The guard then throws down the much smaller kid pretty hard and they exchange punches – nothing really significant lands though.

He’s lucky it was just a group of harmless punk kids he was harassing but even then he’s lucky they all didn’t team up on him and start whacking him with their skateboards.

It’s also too bad he didn’t try picking on someone a little bigger or someone who knew how to fight, then again that’s not how bullies operate. Though street fighting is always a bad idea and not recommended, if someone gets physical with you first it is your right to defend yourself.
