There aren’t many people that leave the house during the day or at night that intend to get into a street fight. There are some that do but those people are few and far between as the average Joe has no intentions of getting into a physical altercation…EVER.
However; when a physical altercation does happen to occur there are certain rules that some people expect to be abided by but there is no rule book for street fighting.
Therefore; things happen that one does not expect and this can lead to devastating consequences.
There are those instances when this happens and the question is going to be how should you react? Well, neither http://www.mixedmartialarts.com nor myself promote street fighting or physical acts of violence in any form or fashion but there are those occasions that arise which simply require that you defend yourself and you need to be aware of the rule set, or lack thereof, that is to be expected.
These are situations that your safety and your life depends on your knowledge and ability to perform in a self-defense situation…so what is proper street fighting etiquette? There is none. Period.
By and large the number one real in a self-defense situation is to strike first, strike fast, and strike hard. In the video below this is a lesson that is not lost on the smaller gentleman.

It is very evident from the start that the smaller gentleman in the video does not want to fight, however; the larger bully insists and gets exactly what he asks for. In a display of incredible reflexes and skill, the smaller gentleman gives the larger bully exactly what he asks for.
