This bloody street fight in Uzbekistan saw two men looking to settle their differences the old fashioned way after falling out over a girl.

Adding an extra element of danger to their showdown was the fact that they were battling it out just a few feet away from seemingly endless rows of single bricks that had been carefully laid out on the ground.

As the fight begins the shirtless fighter almost immediately closes the distance and neatly takes down his white-shirted rival.

Both men clearly have some knowledge of grappling, with white-shirt initially trying to work a submission from his back, and then settling for full guard, while attempting to control his opponents’ posture.

However, the shirtless fighter works methodically in the heat of the moment to improve his position and then lands some ground and pound from half guard, throwing an elbow to the body and a punch to the head.

By this stage the two have moved dangerously close to the bricks, with white-shirt’s head now lying up against one as he gets clobbered with a few more bare knuckle right hands.

Adjusting his position another right-hand lands flush to white-shirt’s face with a sickening smack, bursting open his nose.

As white-shirt’s nose starts flowing crimson he reacts by trying to scramble to his knees, but shirtless drops back with a rear-naked choke attempt, narrowly missing bashing his own head against the bricks behind him as he does so.

White-shirt almost succeeds in turning in on his opponent to get on top, but shirtless is able to adjust in order to stay on his back. There’s a brief struggle as white-shirt tries to shake him off, resulting in both men clattering into the bricks.

For a brief moment white-shirt is able to get on top in half guard, but before he can do anything with it, shirtless scrambles up to regain side control and goes back on the offense again, landing a punch to the side of the head and a knee.

Getting to knee-on-belly again, he’s all set to unleash more punishment when an onlooker decides to intervene and break them up, though he does land one last kick at his rivals already blood-soaked face as they get back up.

All in all this was actually fairly technical for a random street fight, playing out almost like an MMA bout with takedowns, submission attempts, guard passing and ground and pound, and thankfully even a referee stoppage before things got completely out of hand.

Unfortunately for them there wasn’t a doctor standing by to tend to their busted up noses and knuckles afterwards though!
