This bully talked tough right up until the moment one of the guys he was picking on called his bluff.

The altercation is believed to have taken place in a bodega in Brooklyn, New York, and as the video beings the loudmouth in the white jeans and black top is attempting to intimidate the young shop assistant in the apron and an older man in all-black clothing.

You. You not tough! the troublemaker shouts as he gets right up into the assistant’s face and continues to do so even when he tries to turn away.

The bully slaps him in the chest and then pushes away the older man when he tries to calm him down, then goes right back to intimidating the young assistant, who remains silent and looks uncomfortable at being harassed in such a threatening manner.

I dare you to act tough! I dare you! the irate thug continues.

At that moment the older man decides he’s had enough and suddenly launches at the loudmouth with a flying headbutt that lands, then gets into a fighting stance.

The trash-talking thug clearly wasn’t expecting that and instantly shuts up, with any pretence of him being a tough guy quickly evaporating.

He tries to get away, but the older man grabs a fist-full of his top and shoves him into a nearby counter as he lands repeated right hands that snap his head back.

Then the shop assistant gets a little payback too, easily throwing the troublemaker to the floor and landing a few punches of his own.

There’s a bit of overkill at this point as more punches land and the man behind the camera gets overexcited at witnessing the bully getting his comeuppance, but overall it’s fair to say that the instigator learned a humbling lesson that day that he’s not so tough after all!
