There is a mad, hazy grandeur to this video titled ‘Corrupt Mexican Police Vs Mad Citizen Good Street Fight.’

Probably none of the title is true.

The ‘Police officer’ is unarmed, and apparently just does traffic. There is no evidence or reason given for the corrupt part. And the ‘Mad Citizen’ isn’t acting like much of a citizen.

The scene opens with two traffic officers holding an apparently angry citizen by his blue jacket. Jacket gets shucked off, and another man approaches the trio with a gigantic Denver Boot held over his head, and not in a nice way. Traffic Man 2 peels off to deal with Boot Man, as the Mad Citizen rids himself of the jacket, and begins to try to punch Traffic Man 1.

Mexico has an extraordinary tradition of boxing; it has produced more amateur and professional world champions than any other nation on Earth. However, none of those titles were won by Mad Citizen. He knows how to hold his hands up, but after that flails like a goose rudely awakened by a loud noise.

Traffic Man 1 assumes what appears to be an Aikido stance. Luckily, no defensive skills are needed as Mad Citizen throws 19 “strikes” to zero effect.

Traffic Man 2 then ambles back into the scene, in the manner of someone helping a friend with a spilled cup of coffee. Mad Citizen, who has now lost all clothing on his upper body, throws a long left jab and then a right spinning elbow.

You can’t make this up.

Denver Boot has entered the fray, sans boot, and appears to be trying to calm things, as Mad Citizen makes five more punch-ish motions.

Mad Citizen, lets call him MC, then retrieves his torn tank, and wraps it around his hand, as Traffic Man 2 tries to grab his wrist. Traffic Man 1 wipes the sweat from his face, and the pair have face off, touching foreheads.

If you listen closely, you can hear the sound track to The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly – Dadadadaa Wawawaaa.

MC then shoves Traffic Man 1, pauses, and then tries to throw him with a Plumm, of sorts. That failing, MC throws 10 more “punches.”

Suddenly the camera pans to the street and a truck appears to be attempting to drive off with a Denver Boot attached. MC is running towards the truck, partly off camera, and as he arrives, Traffic Man 1 tackles him from behind.

As the pair roll on the asphalt, the truck is moving back and forth, and suddenly the Boot flies off, nearly hitting TM2, who was standing by.

TM2 appears to be about to try to calm things again, when he suddenly sees, well, something, and sprints off camera, never to be seen again.

Meanwhile, MC attempts to Pass the Guard, really, as TM2 attempts to hang on to a Half Guard, and then Quarter Guard.

The pair separate, and the scene fades to black.

Oh human beings …
