The overly aggressive customer in this video more than met his match when he attempted to attack a petrol attendant.

The incident is believed to have taken place inside an Engen petrol station in South Africa, and CCTV footage of it has quickly gone viral, with over 500,000 views having been clocked up in the space of 24 hours on Facebook alone.

The video shows the attendant in the blue hat being accosted by an overweight, middle-aged man in a white shirt as he waits to get some change from the cashier at the checkout desk.

As the customer becomes more agitated he moves towards the significantly smaller attendant and continues to berate him at close quarters, then steps back a few paces.

The argument continues however, and just as the attendant receives his change and put it in his pocket the customer suddenly loses his cool completely and lifts up his hand to strike him.

The attendant jumps back to avoid the blow and then immediately retaliates with a piston-like straight right directly to his attackers chin that drops him like a sack of spuds.

Not sticking around to admire his impressive handiwork, the attendant just walks straight out of the store, while his attacker flops around on the floor like a fish as he tries to gets back up again.

On wobbly legs he does finally succeed in struggling to his feet and immediately tries to head out the exit, but he’s still not regained his equilibrium after the blow and soon falls back into the store as the video comes to an end.

The customer’s humiliating dose of karma has made him a laughing stock in South Africa, and hopefully that will teach him to keep his hands to himself and treat people like the attendant with more respect in future.
