There are not many people that leave the house during the day or at night that intend to get into a street fight. There are some that do but those people are few and far between as the average Joe has no intentions of getting into a physical altercation…EVER.
Even more rare are the life threatening or life changing situations where a person may have to defend themselves because their life is quite literally at risk and to make matters worse the attacker may be much larger than you, may have a weapon, may have set a trap, or there may even be multiple attackers.
There are those instances when this happens and what happens when you are in a situation that absolutely requires you to fight and your opponent is throwing wild, vicious punches? Well, neither www.mixedmartialarts.com nor myself promote street fighting or physical acts of violence in any form or fashion but there are those occasions that arise which simply require that you defend yourself or you may, in fact, be in grave danger…Enter Luke Holloway.

Luke Holloway expertly and concisely shows us three ways in which a person can defend themselves when they are being attacked by a person that is larger than them. These are not techniques that are unique to the aforementioned situation and can, in fact, be used in just about any type of self-defense situation.
Although the average size man is roughly 5’8 and 150 lbs. it seems that when a person finds themselves in a situation where self-defense is necessary, their attacker is normally much bigger than that. The reason and psychology for this is a discussion for another article so for now, check out the video below to see how you can defend yourself when a much larger man attacks you.
