Fighting is one of those areas in life where many think they’re an expert at. It makes sense, when you think about it. Fighting is a primal and basic expression of mankind, and it involves a lot of ego. That’s why they say you have to check your ego at the door when you enter an MMA or martial arts gym. As much as it might suck you have to accept that you’re not the strongest/most skilled person around and that you need to humble yourself if you want to grow as a martial artist, and as a person too for that matter. Apparently, the 3 following persons didn’t possess that humble mindset.
They thought they could possibly take on elite MMA fighters whose lives basically revolves around getting better at becoming deadly physical machines, day in and day out. That’s the equivalent of someone who barely knows how to ride a bike who would like to suddenly become an airman.
Unsurprisingly, it went bad for them. Really bad. Check out the 3 following videos where regular wannabe tough guys got a brutal reality check.
3) Guy says MMA doesn’t work
Despite the fact that the UFC has been around for more than 20 years now, basically serving the purpose of allowing us to acknowledge what works and what doesn’t when it comes to martial arts, some people apparently still think that MMA ‘doesn’t work’. The gentleman in this video does, but I might not be surprised if he changed his stance on MMA after having been choked out AND brutally head kicked.

2) Dominick Cruz vs self-proclaimed ‘ninja’
Ninjas are cool. I love ninjas, well, in movies that is. Because ninjas don’t exist anymore, right? Well, this fellow seemed to beg to differ. A self-proclaimed ninja, he probably thought he could pull off some ancient deadly secret technique and beat Dominick Cruz. Unfortunately for him, Cruz is actually one of the best pound-for-pound MMA fighters ever. Cruz manages to hit a takedown not even 2 seconds in and proceeds to beat up the ‘ninja’ for close to 2 minutes before the latter taps out, proving that there’s only one ninja around and that his name is Nate Diaz.

1) Josh Neer vs Facebook challenger
Early last year, a video emerged online showing a former UFC fighter brutally mauling a man inside the former’s gym. Needless to say, the controversial footage sparked a lot of heated reactions. Neer claims the man threatened him on Facebook and challenged him to a fight.

Eventually fed up, Neer accepted the man’s challenge. And boy, it was REALLY ugly. Watch for yourself.
