The state of Washington has a mutual combat law which allows two combatants to fight in the street given that both are of sound mind and mutually agree to fight.
It is here where MMA fighter Ben Fodor and his super human alter ego Phoenix Jones patrol the streets to protect the innocent and in some cases fight to uphold justice.
In the video, Phoenix Jones and an unnamed man in an orange shirt engage in a verbal altercation. Eventually the police arrive, but only to supervise the altercation as the two fighting is perfectly legal. Finally the two agree to fight. They shake hands and it’s on.
Jones opens the fight with a solid roundhouse kick to the leg of his opponent. It’s clear from the beginning that the man in the orange shirt is outmatched skill wise as Jones moves in and out with solid striking techniques. He quickly lands a strong right cross that floors his opponent and ends the altercation.
At this point, a second man who is a friend of the man just knocked out, removes his shirt and starts to verbally berate Jones, threatening to fight him as well. However, Jones choices not to engage this man and police take control of the situation.
